Ceremonial Meeting Dedicated to the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan Held at the Constitutional Court
Today, a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan was held at the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The ceremonial meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Abduhafiz Ashurzoda, who warmly congratulated those present on the sacred and historic national celebration — the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the Constitutional Court emphasized that State Independence is the greatest and most valuable achievement of the Tajik nation and the proud people of Tajikistan throughout the thousand-year history of national statehood.
It was noted that although this invaluable blessing was granted to the Tajik nation as a gift of destiny and a sacred blessing, unfortunately, the first years of independence became an extremely difficult and challenging period for beloved Tajikistan. At the beginning of the period of independence, an imposed civil war broke out, causing enormous political, economic and social damage to the state and the people.
