PARTICIPATION OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT IN THE FINAL MEETING OF SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE CITY OF ISTARAVSHAN IN 2020 AND DETERMINATION OF POSITIONS FOR 2021

On January 14, 2021 in the big hall of the executive body of state authority of Istaravshan city was held an extended meeting of activists of the city on the results of socio-economic development of Istaravshan in 2020 and defining of tasks for 2021.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Tajikistan, the head of the working group in Istaravshan Ashurzoda Abdulhafiz, a representative of the executive body of state authority of Sughd region, acting mayor of Istaravshan, deputy mayors, heads of law enforcement agencies, heads of departments, heads of sectors and organizations, industrial enterprises, chairmen of rural jamoats, mahalla committees and representatives of the mass media.

First, the First deputy mayor Abdusattor Qodiri reported on the results of socio-economic development of Istaravshan in 2020. The deputies of the mayor, heads of departments, tax inspectors and other officials spoke at the discussion.

Then, the speakers and officials of the relevant sectors were asked about the shortcomings, existing problems and indicators that were not achieved according to the forecast.

         In particular, the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Tajikistan, the head of the working group in Istaravshan Ashurzoda Abdulhafiz and a representative of the executive body of state authority of Sughd region, the head of the Department of Social Protection of Sughd region addressed the audience and expressed their views on overcoming problems.

At the end of the meeting, specific tasks were set for the further development of relevant sectors in 2021.

At the end, 13 representatives of various sectors of the economy, who have made significant contributions in 2020, were thanked by the executive body of state authority of Istaravshan.
