VISIT OF PARTICIPANTS OF THE “HUMAN RIGHTS ADVOCATE” TRAINING COURSE TO THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN
On July 9, 2026, at the initiative of the Public Organization “Office of Civil Freedoms,” participants of the “Human Rights Advocate” training course visited the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Tajikistan.
As part of the visit, Deputy Chairperson of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Tajikistan D.R. Abdurahimzoda provided participants with detailed information about the history of the establishment of the Constitutional Court, its powers, structure, and main areas of activity. Particular attention was paid to the role of the Constitutional Court in ensuring the supremacy of the Constitution, strengthening the rule of law, and protecting the rights and freedoms of individuals and citizens.
During the visit, participants had the opportunity to ask questions of interest to them and become familiar with the practical aspects of the Constitutional Court’s activities. In addition, staff members of the Office of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Tajikistan — Boboev Firuz Abdunasimovich and Karimzoda Shahboz Sharob — introduced the guests to the Constitutional Court’s museum and courtroom, and provided information about the history of the formation and development of the constitutional review body in the Republic of Tajikistan.
This visit was of significant importance in enhancing the legal awareness of the course participants, fostering a deeper understanding of the role of the Constitutional Court within the system of state authorities, and strengthening their practical knowledge in the field of law.
